The College Avenue Players The College Avenue Players (CAP) provide a comedic theater experience for Rutgers University and all guests! Follow this page for our latest performances!

The College Avenue Players are an entirely student run organization which puts on 3 plays each semester. CAP is always looking for people to get involved in every way; acting, directing, writing, tech, designing, stage managing and more! Fall Semester:
1. Comic Relief: Our charity sketch show comprised of sketches from various shows including Key and Peele, College Humor, SNL, Portlandia and many

others! All ticket proceeds go to charity!
2. The Halloween Show: An original sketch show written and directed entirely by students! Our weekly sketch-writing meetings ring in spooky season every year.
3. Fall Mainstage: A full-length comedic play. Spring Semester:
1. Spring Mainstage: A full-length comedic play.
2. Chad Chats: Original comedic TED Talk-style presentations.
3. Wacky Hijinks: Our final show of the year is an original sketch show!

Drake Prescott is a Vampire, or is he just a 14-year-old boy who watched his mother die in an auto accident?
The grief and guilt of not being able to save her (or worse) have convinced him he’s an undead monster who threatens everyone around him, and his father and therapist’s efforts seem to be failing. On top of that, the Agents of GEEK, a group of teen ghostbusters are hot on his trail. Just as what’s left of Drake’s world begins to crumble, hope appears in the form of the odd but earnest Wysteria. 🦇
Is she the guide he needs to return home from his trip down the rabbit hole?
