‼️PUBLIC STATEMENT‼️

I wish to issue a formal correction and apology to regarding a column published that contained inaccurate information.

In the most recent verse of Unsung Magazine, I wrote that “Cowboys & Cadillacs Limo Service” once operated as a chauffeuring business for artists such as Randy Rogers and Koe Wetzel. That statement was incorrect. Cowboys & Cadillacs has never owned or operated a limousine service, nor have they ever provided transportation for Randy Rogers or Koe Wetzel. It has since been removed from the online version.

The mistake came from a mix of public chatter and second-hand stories that, once printed, proved to be unfounded. That’s on me. No excuses. I take full responsibility for the inaccuracy and sincerely apologize to Cowboys & Cadillacs, their team and our readers for any confusion or misrepresentation it may have caused.

Unsung’s mission has always been to celebrate and accurately represent the people and places that make up our Hill Country music community. I missed the mark this time. I’m owning it, correcting it and moving forward with a renewed commitment to diligence, fact-checking and humility.
