This painting was commissioned by a couple who had lived near London. Their favorite pub, The White Cross, would occasionally have water from the River Thames fill up the street and attract these swans to come visit. This was such a delight to be asked to paint.

We do great Happy Birthday presents! Come on by! This kind gentleman commissioned me to do a painting for his wife’s upcoming birthday, with very specific things in the painting. I will not unveil it until after this week, otherwise she might see her gift. He was so cute when he picked up the wrapped gift because he had on his Marine veteran Honor Guard uniform as he was returning from participating in a veteran’s funeral. So nice.
