Calling all fans of variegated threads! 🌈

Encore! is a 4-ply overdyed cotton thread from Rainbow Gallery with beautiful color changes throughout each skein. Its variegation makes it an easy way to add movement, dimension, and changing color to a stitched area without constantly switching threads.

Encore! has been discontinued, and Golden Needle has a limited selection remaining.

If you have an older project that calls for Encore!, want to match something already in your stash, or just love the look of overdyed threads, take a look while we still have it.

Once our remaining stock is gone, we will not be able to replace it.

If you love adding a little shimmer to your needlepoint, this one is worth a look.

Nordic Gold is a fine metallic thread from Rainbow Gallery that adds sparkle without the heavier look of some metallic fibers. It’s especially useful for highlights, decorative stitches, ornaments, accents, and anywhere you want a touch of shine.

Nordic Gold has been discontinued, and the colors we have at Golden Needle are from our remaining inventory.

✹ If Nordic Gold is already a favorite—or you have an older project that calls for it—now is the time to check our stock.

đŸ§” We’re making room—and uncovering some hard-to-find treasures along the way!

This year, we’ve added new thread lines at Golden Needle and expanded several of the ones we already carry. That means we need more room in the shop.

As we work through our inventory, we’re also finding discontinued thread lines and colors, including some that have never been listed on our website.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting these discontinued finds so our customers have a chance to get them before they’re gone.

If you’re looking for a favorite older thread, trying to finish a project, or just love finding fibers that are no longer being produced, keep an eye on our posts.

There’s nothing quite like that last stitch—especially after all the hours, color changes, counting, frogging, and “just one more row” that got you there.
