Wednesday 6/3/2026: A BIG THANK YOU & SHOUT OUT to the 4 different Church Youth Groups who all launched their Fun Float Trips together around 1:54pm today! We put together a short music video from our We**am (less than 2 minutes), showing the 4 Youth Groups launching their Fun Float Trips! Comal River Levels were flowing at 152 CFS at 1:45pm this afternoon with Partly Sunny Skies at 87-degrees! The following is our upcoming 7-day Local Weather Forecast for New Braunfels, which is showing quite a bit of rain coming our way, which may or may not show up! The extended forecast has been less than 50% accurate lately, so there's a good chance the forecast will change considerably as we go forward day by day! We plan on opening every day going forward (weather permitting), and we will rent tubes in the rain, provided there is no lightning involved with the rain showers! As you can see by the screenshots (below) from our We**am, Fun Float Trips are underway on this beautiful Partly Sunny day with a High of 91-degrees forecasted at Texas Tubes! Comal River Levels were flowing at 148 CFS at 10:45am this morning! The following is our upcoming 7-day Local Weather Forecast for New Braunfels, which is showing quite a bit of rain coming our way, which may or may not show up! Weekend UPDATE Friday 5/29/2026: Fun Float Trips are underway at Texas Tubes today (see pics!) Comal River Levels were flowing at an awesome 175 CFS as of 2:45pm this afternoon! Water clarity is around 93% today, almost back to normal after the recent heavy rainfall on Wednesday, 5/27/26, and by Saturday morning, water clarity should be back at 100%! All 3 Tube Chutes are flowing great! The following is our upcoming Local Weekend Forecast for New Braunfels, if it holds true!
Fri 5/29: High 92-degrees, Mix of Sun & Clouds!
Sat 5/30: High 90-degrees, AM Clouds/PM Sun!
Sun 5/31: High 91-degrees, AM Clouds/PM Sun!

Wednesday 5/27/2026: This is a shared post from the City of New Braunfels with a VIDEO of the high river levels flowing over the Tube Chute! Texas Tubes is CLOSED TODAY due to HIGH RIVER LEVELS that are flowing over the top of the Tube Chute, caused by heavy overnight rainfall. The Comal River will remain CLOSED until River Levels return to safe levels for water recreation. Comal River Levels peaked at 1340 CFS at 5:45am this morning and are now receding. River Levels were flowing at 678 at 8:45am this morning! Comal River Levels are currently exceeding the river banks and are flowing over the top of the Tube Chute, and were covering the 4th step of our River Entry before river levels began receding (see previous post below)! Please check back tomorrow for updates about our reopening status! Thank you!

Wednesday 5/27/2026: Texas Tubes is CLOSED TODAY due to HIGH RIVER LEVELS that are flowing over the top of the Tube Chute, caused by heavy overnight rainfall. The Comal River will remain CLOSED until River Levels return to safe levels for water recreation. Comal River Levels peaked at 1340 CFS at 5:45am this morning and are now receding. River Levels were flowing at 678 at 8:45am this morning! Comal River Levels are currently exceeding the river banks and are flowing over the top of the Tube Chute, and were covering the 4th step of our River Entry (see pics)! The Thunderstorm front that rolled through New Braunfels last night stretched all the way from Mexico up to Denver, Colorado, with the most intense part of the front hitting Texas, triggering Tornado warnings and flash flood warnings across the entire front. We captured a few screenshots of the extreme Lightning from our We**am! Please check back tomorrow for updates about our reopening status! Thank you!

5/22/2026 Friday: Texas Tubes is sharing this awesome post by Caressa Captures Photography, who, along with Britni Call Photography and Mikie Farias Photography, took a lot of great photos of the New Braunfels High School Seniors – Class of 2026 Annual Graduation Float Trip at Texas Tubes and the Tube Chute this morning, Friday, 5/22/2026! This was the 7th year in a row for NBHS Seniors to celebrate their graduation with a Fun Float Trip/Photo Shoot in their blue graduation gowns at Texas Tubes! Along with sharing Caressa’s post, Texas Tubes put together a series of screenshots taken via our We**am from this morning (See our post above this shared post, and please check out both posts to get a full picture of the excitement and fun these Seniors had celebrating their super unique graduation party on the Comal River!).
