By design, not much has physically changed since the Hall was first built. The 6,000 square foot dance hall with a high pitched tin roof still has the original layout with side flaps for open air dancing, a bar in the front, a small lighted stage in the back and a huge outdoor garden. Through the years, the big winners have always been Gruene Hall’s patrons. A person watching a show never knows if the artist they see at the Hall today will be a star tomorrow, but they can know that the music they hear will always be top notch.

H***y Tonk Thursday is going down again NEXT THURSDAY!

Head to Gruene Hall Thursday for free live music from Graham St. Clair from 7pm-8pm and Jake Bush from 8:30-10:30pm. Come early for Line Dance Lessons from 6-7pm for $12 per person. We will also have a GIVEAWAY for a Boot Barn Gift Card, exclusive H***y Tonk Thursday merch, and admission for two for an upcoming Gruene Hall show. Enter in person, no purchase required!

Experience the vibrant sound of Nashville recording artist Jake Bush, a master of traditional country music with a modern twist. Perfectly crafted for honky-tonk enthusiasts, Jake’s tunes blend the nostalgic charm of '90s country with today’s energetic spirit. His music embodies the seamless fusion of past and present, as showcased in his latest album, "Where 90’s Meets Now." Jake, originally from Pasadena, TX, is the youngest of five siblings. His early life was marked by the loss of his mother, but music provided him with solace and hope. Inspired by '90s country legends like Keith Whitley, Daryle Singletary, and George Jones, Jake’s passion for music led him to serve in the US Army Reserves at Ellington Field in Webster, Texas, after high school. He is currently preparing to release a highly anticipated album with renowned Nashville producer Phil O'Donnell. Stay tuned—Jake Bush is carrying the torch for traditional country music and could be the genre’s best-kept secret.
