In Loving Memory of Ngala

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ngala, our beloved female lion, after a long battle with cancer.

Ngala was a truly special member of the Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo family. Her beauty, strength, and unmistakable presence made an impression on everyone who had the opportunity to see her, from the team members who cared for her each day to the countless guests who admired her over the years.

Her loss is being felt deeply throughout our zoo family. The bonds our staff form with the animals in their care are incredibly meaningful, and saying goodbye is never easy. As our team mourns the loss of Ngala, we ask that you keep her caregivers and the rest of our staff in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Ngala was deeply loved and cared for throughout her life, and she leaves behind many memories that our team will carry with us for years to come.

We know she also held a special place in the hearts of many of our guests. We invite you to share your favorite photos, stories, and memories of Ngala with us as we celebrate the life of a remarkable lion who meant so much to so many.

Rest peacefully, Ngala. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
