Did you know that you can sing with the Purgatory Creek Chorale outside of school—and get paid for it? We’re a vibrant choral collective based in San Marcos, Texas, dedicated to “Making music in our community, for our community, with our community.”
This opportunity is open to current students, alumni, and friends and family who are eager to join a choir again.

The Purgatory Creek Chorale is a professional choral collective based in San Marcos, Texas. PCC’s professional ensembles, Chamber Choir and Early Music Ensemble, feature accomplished artists from the greater Central Texas area. PCC is committed to engaging with the community in meaningful ways including concerts, educational events, and community singing opportunities. PCC’s professional ensembles are primarily conductor-less and believe that they are able to achieve their highest level of musicianship within a caring and singer-focused rehearsal environment.
