🌸MumFest Throwback Thursday - October 8, 1994

MumFest has been bringing people together in downtown New Bern for decades. Founded in 1979 as the Swiss Bear Festival and later renamed MumFest, the festival was created to celebrate downtown New Bern while supporting revitalization efforts throughout the district. Today, MumFest remains Swiss Bear's largest fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting downtown development, beautification, and other community events.
