💫CALL FOR TALENT💫

DPC wants you!! We are holding auditions for our upcoming performance at New Bern’s Beary Merry Christmas event.

Audition Date: October 13 at 10 AM
Audition Location: Moreno BJJ (201 Kale Rd)
Doors will open at 9:45 for warm up!

The performance date is Friday, November 29 in the evening. This performance is outside and a kid/family friendly, Christmas themed event!

We hold practices on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and Sunday mornings. If selected to perform, you will be expected to be at all practices leading up to the show.

For this audition, we are looking for 1 minute or more of an original piece that is Christmas themed. This can be aerial or ground, anything that you are comfortable with. Please come in a costume (for auditions, it does not have to be the final costume), with hair and make up done. We want to see passion and effort! Have fun, & be creative!

Please avoid the following songs, as they have already been claimed by current members for performances:
Pure Imagination
Carol of the Bells
I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas
Little Drummer Boy
Nutcracker Trap Remix
Toy Soldier

Bringing this show to you meant so much to all of us, and we are so happy to have shared it with all of you! Thank you to everyone who supported the show, from the cast and crew, to the Civic Theater, to everyone who bought tickets or helped to promote the show. Today is the final day of our Meet the Cast series! Opening night of A Grimm Twist is tomorrow, and we can't wait to see you all there! To finish up with our series, we want to introduce our four-legged cast member, Daario the Great.

Daario the Great will be playing the Big Bad Wolf in the upcoming show. 🐺 He will be performing with his owner/ handler, Little Red Riding Hood. They have been bringing joy to the stage together for the last two years. His favorite part of the show is the applause 👏. Even though he is playing the Big Bad Wolf, he is actually a Very Good Boy.
