Kiah Lynn and Goodman are a newly formed acoustic folk-pop duo dedicated to sharing their love of great music across the South Coast. Their originals are heavily influenced by folk, pop, as well as rhythm and blues. Their diverse sound and style immediately grabs the listener with Kiah’s captivating vocal melodies and Goodman’s fingerpicked acoustic guitar lines.
Kiah Lynn is from Acushnet, and has been an avid member of the local theater and music communities for the last five years. Kiah is a versatile vocalist and performer where she has been on stage singing and acting for over 5 years. She got her start in local theater, where she still performs today! Kiah brings a unique sound to Kiah Lynn and Goodman because of her extensive training in the arts, and her angelic vocal leads that range from soft and sweet to rockin on! She is influenced by many of the top female artists of today, such as Lizzy McAlpine and Taylor Swift.
Steve Goodman is from Marion, and is a multi-instrument artist, songwriter and producer with over 20 years of performance experience. Steve brings a distinct and engaging playing style to Kiah Lynn and Goodman focusing on intricate acoustic guitar melodies through fingerpicking and the use of his loop pedal. His style is heavily influenced by a wide range of artists including David Gilmour, Dicky Betts, Eric Johnson, and Townes Van Zandt. Previous projects include BF Stedman, Big Smith, and others where he toured from New York to Boston.
