In Come From Away, we are reminded of the profound impact of opening our hearts, building community, and taking care of one another in times of trial. As a theatre department, we believe that stories have the power to unite us, but action is what sustains us.

Today, let’s honor the spirit of Juneteenth by recommitting ourselves to the journey toward justice and equality by working together to ensure our community is a place where everyone is truly free, valued, and welcome. 💛

🧡✈️ Sponsor a Mile and Help Us Reach ITF 2026! ✈️🧡
We are traveling to the International Thespian Festival 2026 with Come From Away, and you can help us get there—one mile at a time!

New Albany to Bloomington is approximately 90 miles, and we’re looking for sponsors for each mile of the journey. Simply choose an available mile marker and donate the corresponding amount. For example:
📍 Mile 4 = $4 donation
📍 Mile 25 = $25 donation
📍 Mile 90 = $90 donation

Every dollar helps support our students as they represent our program on the national stage. If you want to sponsor a mile, you can drop the number you want in the comments, go to fundraising site (in comments) OR pick a mile when you come to see the show-Thursday and Friday!!

Thank you for helping us turn miles into memories and making this incredible opportunity possible!

Today a group of our students walked around the city of New Albany spreading the word about our remount of Come From Away before we head to the International Thespian Festival! Through postcards and fliers, people were met and memories were made. If you see one of our fliers downtown, be sure to scan one of the QR codes for tickets!

We hope to see you in the audience the 18th and 19th at 7:30 PM in the New Albany High School Auditorium! ✈️🌎💛
