We understand and appreciate not all students in 1st-5th grade want to train in ballet at a high level. Many of these students want to take ballet "just to try it out, for fun, and to add to other extra curricular activities". That is why our General Division Ballet program is so popular! Students attend ballet once a week. We offer classes right after school, evenings, and Saturdays. Whether your child wants to try ballet, tap, jazz or hip hop our flexible scheduling allows them to explore dance without a major commitment.

NABC is a great option for those aspiring dancers looking to elevate their training in a positive and encouraging environment! Entering our 28th season, we have continued to grow each year and produce some of the top talent in Columbus. Our faculty is some of the best in Central Ohio, with several of them having years of professional experience. We also have beautiful facilities that add to our high caliber of training: 20,000 sq. ft of space, Harlequin sprung floors, full length mirrors, spacious studios, and more! Here are some of the benefits of being a part of our progressive and pre-professional programs:

I think all moms agree... a two year old is NOT the same as a four year old! Yet some studios lump 2, 3,and 4 year olds together. NOT US!!! Our two year olds take Pre Ballet, three year olds take Little Ballet, and four year olds take Pre Primary Ballet. Each is structured with their own curriculum, props, music, movement, and age appropriate expectations. Don't even get us started on how some studios have two year olds taking combo ballet, tap, and tumbling. Those moms are paying for their two year old to sit and change their shoes all class!!! We don't introduce combo classes until the child is three and has the motor skills to stand on one foot and shuffle. Those classes are a full hour allowing for enough time for a full thirty minutes of ballet and thirty minutes of tap.
Our professional children's division faculty has created the most sought after program for little ballerinas in Central Ohio. Your child deserves only the best first experience. Each class is filled with tutus, props, wands, books, music, movement, and most importantly love for ballet. Let their first experience in dance be the best.

Our Creative Movement classes are a great way to get our youngest dancers moving! 🧑‍🩰 For toddlers ages 16-36 months, our Creative Movement classes are similar to a mommy and me style class. This allows them to discover music and movement, all while having a familiar face right by their side! They have fun playing with bubbles, putting on tutus, dancing to follow along songs, and more! 🫧🦋 Here are our Creative Movement offerings for Fall:

Our last week of camps finished today, meaning Summer 2026 is complete! 10 weeks of classes, camps, intensives, and lots of fun! We had our biggest summer yet, with 1000 young dancers walking through our front door!🩵 We can’t wait to see everyone in the fall (and some at Nutcracker auditions!🐭).
