🌲 Progress Update: The Rural 1st Timber & Terrain Course 🌲

Marty and his crew of wood gnomes have been hard at work deep in the woods clearing trails, expanding shooting lanes, and getting the new Rural 1st Timber & Terrain Course ready for action.

We’re excited to give you a little sneak peek at the progress so far. The transformation has been impressive, and we’re just getting started.

A huge thank you to ** Rural 1st** for stepping up as the presenting sponsor of this exciting new addition to The Farm. Their support is helping us create something truly unique for our shooters.

Stay tuned… there’s a lot more sawdust, sweat, and probably a few more wood gnomes involved before we’re done.

We were so honored to be a feature EARLY EARLY this am on WLKY News!! This is the 9am section of the news but we started rolling at 5am! We had some seriously amazing guest appearances from Frank, Ava, and Lola! Great morning! Now is it time for bed yet?

What a week at The Farm.

On Friday, we welcomed nearly 200 shooters for the 6th Annual Rogers Group First Responders Fundraiser. After Mother Nature tried to make things interesting, the rain moved out and it turned into a great day supporting a great cause. We always enjoy hosting this event and appreciate Rogers Group’s continued commitment to our local first responders.

Then today, it was the kids’ turn.

The Indiana SCTP Sporting Clays Championship brought young shooters from across the state to The Farm, and they absolutely showed up. The talent on display was impressive, but what stood out even more was the attitude of the families, coaches, and volunteers. Everyone was kind, patient, helpful, and appreciative throughout the day.

Hosting youth shooting events is one of our favorite things we do. Watching these athletes compete, support each other, and represent the shooting sports so well reminds us why programs like SCTP are so important.

Thank you to every shooter, parent, coach, volunteer, trapper, and staff member who helped make today a success. We were proud to host you and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to sit down for about 14 minutes before the next event starts.

-Friday closed all day for a large corporate event with Roger’s Group
-Saturday woods course only open from 9-12:30p for normal shooters - Indiana SCTP State

No late hours this Thursday! 6/11

Brook will be spending the afternoon at the Floyd County 4-H Fair, so we’ll be closing at our regular time. 5p

If you need an evening activity, head over to the fairgrounds and support the kids. Plenty of animals, food trucks, exhibits, and a few rides for the little ones. Come see some pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, cows, turkeys, and all the other critters these kids have worked hard to raise.

We’ve heard the requests. You like pain.

For those of you still losing sleep over this weekend’s targets, we’re leaving the course set exactly the same for ONE DAY ONLY — this Wednesday.

After that, corporate events and SCTP State take over, and the course has to change.

So if you’re convinced those targets got lucky the first time, come prove it.

🚨We’ll also extend hours Wednesday for tournament shooters. If you need to shoot after 5 PM, we’ll accommodate you by appointment only. Just call the clubhouse or email [email protected] so we can make arrangements.

Wednesday. That’s it.
