Our Summer Art gallery reception was this evening. We had a great turnout and it was so fun to see my students sharing their work with their families and friends. I get to see all of their work in its completed state before they do, so it’s an exciting surprise for them when they see the finished product. Thanks again to all of my students, their families, and my family and friends for supporting my work. It means the world to me!

Attention: SUMMER ART CLASSES are coming up! This summer I am offering two sessions of clay classes at my home studio. The offerings are available on the following schedule:

June 22-June 25 and June 29-July 2, 2026 to make projects, then July 10 and 17 to glaze projects.

Section 1 (M, W): June 22, June 24 and Friday, July 10
Section 2 (T, Th): June 23, June 25 and Friday, July 10
Section 3 (M, W): June 29, July 1 and Friday, July 17
Section 4 (T, Th): June 30, July 2 and Friday, July 17

Age 6-9will meet 9-11am
Age 9-12 will meet 1-3pm
Age 13-17 will meet 6-8pm

Three classes, materials, and a gallery reception on Saturday, August 15 from 6:30-8pm at $75 per student.

I had a really lovely pottery group in the studio this afternoon. They decorated mugs, which look adorable and will be even cuter after they are fired. They also got some wheel time in! Happy day!

Message me if you are interested in finding a time for you and a group of pals to spend time in my studio! $30/person for a 3 hour session including a mug to decorate and a lesson and practice time on the wheel.

Looking for some fall fun with your pals? Book a Pottery class together. Each 3 hour class includes a lesson on the pottery wheel and a premade mug that you can decorate. All pieces will be fired and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks from the class. Each class seats 8. Classes are $30/person.

Howdy! Reminder to summer art families that we will be having our Gallery Reception this evening from 6:30-8pm at Sojourn Church in Mew Albany, 2023 Ekin Rd., New Albany, IN 47150. Students will be able to take their work home with them after the show. I look forward to seeing you there!

Trying something new this year: WEEKLY adult (18+) classes. Thursday evenings, starting Sept. 5, from 6-8pm. Classes will be offered in 4 week sessions. Cost per 4 week session is $120. I have six more open seats for the first session. Students will have the opportunity to learn hand building and wheel throwing techniques to create pottery. Message me to reserve your seat; let me know what questions you have!

The Summer Art class students will be showing off their work this evening at our gallery reception. This event will be held from 6-7:30 in the lobby at Sojourn Church, 2023 Ekin St, New Albany. Refreshments available, and plenty of delightful artwork for your viewing enjoyment. Come out and support our young artists!
