Check out my latest project 🍂🌌

This piece is about fall skies, seasonal depression, and that feeling of watching the days get shorter while the nights get longer and darker. I wanted to explore that shift through an abstract painting, using fiber and texture to reflect some of the heaviness that comes with the changing seasons.

This is the second project I’ve completed for my MFA classes, and I’ve really enjoying working with fibers. I’m excited to keep experimenting and see where my work goes next. 🤩

Sam and I have been having an absolute gourd time working as pumpkin artists for this year’s with the Parks Department! 👻🎃

Here’s a little sneaky peek at some of my uncarved pumpkins. I can’t wait to see them come to life once they’re carved! 🧡

Saturday September 19th: Join us at the MFA Gallery for an exhibition featuring our new cohort of MFA Candidates!

"Shared Frequencies" showcases the artwork of Christina Lynch, Daniel Vance, Sarah Alvarez, and Jessica Hartman, the new MFA cohort at the Hite Institute of Art and Design. This exhibition displays their recent work and serves to highlight the multidisciplinary practices of the artists, such as printmaking, illustration, metalwork, and painting. While displaying the diversity of the artists' pieces,
"Shared Frequencies" suggests that their work can still be in conversation with each other and hold similarities that might not be immediately evident visually.

Saturday September 19th: 5-7 PM

Hey friends I’m looking for free scrap fabric to experiment on.

Looking for donations of any color tulle, meshes, organza, anything transparent, or semi transparent.

I’m looking for sections 18 x 24 or bigger.

Screen could also be interesting.

Honestly, I am open to getting weird. If you have some thing you think could work and you’re willing to donate reach out and I’ll come pick it up.
