Come see "A Woman for Our Time," at the Nevada Theatre, produced by Paul Emery, with KVMR and the Nevada Theatre. The play features actors Rene Sprattling, Ariel Elliott, Emerald Alura Stara, Jill Gottlieb, Renee Smith, Wendy Greene, Chiana McCrea, and an assortment of male leads as well--Bruce Baynard, John Watson, Mike Ferguson, Skylar Mims, and Sawyer Maddux.
Top-notch musicians also fill the stage in this musical drama: Kelly Fleming, Sage Arias, Kate Canon, Beverly Marks, Jane Sinclair and Nancy Lee Harper. The production team includes prestigious director Michael Gottlieb, playwright Teresa Henkle Langness, set designer Pam Hodges and stage manager Kristine Alcamo.
Qanita the maid (Rene Sprattling) will introduce you to the mother of Africa’s Nana Asma’u, to the journalist Margaret Fuller, to America’s earliest suffragettes and to Tahirih, the first feminist of the Middle East. Come celebrate the efforts of women who advanced equality and sacrificed for the common good--and enjoy an evening at the theatre!
