FREE TUTORIAL ALERT!!!

This project starts with a pumpkin-shaped gnome, but there are so many fun details that make him a little different. We’re layering orange and red for his pumpkin body, giving him a big floppy green hat and fluffy white beard, and setting it all against that bright aqua background.

But my favorite part might be the flower on his hat. 🌼

Instead of using traditional crushed glass, I took pieces from a yellow glass votive and nipped them into individual petals to create the dimensional flower. Add a black bead in the center and a coat of resin, and suddenly that inexpensive little votive has a whole new life!

Can I give you a little permission slip? You do not have to wait until everything on your to-do list is finished before you get to do something for YOU.

Because let’s be honest… when is that ever going to happen? 😂

Life is busy. There’s always laundry, errands, work, family, appointments, messages, dishes… and somehow another thing appears the second you cross something off the list.

So maybe it’s time to stop waiting for the “perfect” time. Come join me for the Christmas Tree Challenge and give yourself permission to slow down, get creative and have a little fun. ❤️🎄

The dishes will still be there. I promise. 😉
