It’s time to introduce myself. I’m Dave Earp, and I’m excited to run for the Mattoon School Board. Serving our schools is supporting our kids, community and future. I first became interested in the Mattoon School Board in July 2022 when I applied and interviewed for the vacant position created by the resignation of Mrs. Braun. Since then, I’ve been watching the meetings online and following the dialogue and challenges discussed.

I am a firm believer in:
✔️ Cultivating a positive culture where students and staff can thrive
✔️ Providing support to students, teachers, and staff so they feel valued and equipped
✔️ Finding real solutions to real challenges in our schools

I’m passionate about making a difference and ensuring the best for Mattoon students. Today’s School Board shapes the future. I’ll take the sensible approach to shaping a great future for our kids.
