Nenana Gospel Music Fest

03/15/2021

With much prayer and consideration, it has been decided that 2019 was the final Nenana Gospel Music Fest. It is our hope and prayer that an event such as this will spring up in another area of Alaska. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers. God bless!

After much prayer, it has been decided to cancel this year's Nenana Gospel Music Fest. This decision did not come easily. There are several contributing factors, not just the COVID 19 pandemic.

We, at KIAM, will be putting together a "Best of the Nenana Gospel Music Fest" which will air the afternoon of July 4. Stay tuned for more information as to the times and how to tune in.

Please pray for the Lord's leading in determining the future of this outreach.

Dear friends of the Nenana Gospel Music Fest, We covet your prayers in these uncertain time as to the direction we need to take as far as canceling this year's event or whether we will be able to go ahead. God only knows and time will tell. I plan to make a decision one way or another by mid to late May. Please pray for wisdom. I trust you are praying, as I am, for the Lord's plan in all of this and that He would be glorified by whatever the outcome of all this looks like in the future. Blessings! Jeannie & the Gospel Fest Committee.

Prayers for wisdom needed! We need to find another venue in Nenana. Pray that the Lord will provide just what we need. Thanks.

ANSWERED PRAYER! WE NOW HAVE A COMMITTEE OF 8 INSTEAD OF 1. THAT MEANS THERE WILL BE AN 8TH NENANA GOSPEL FEST!

Please forgive me for taking so long to post after your event. The Fest went very well. The Lord arranged the music schedule His way, He provided beautiful weather by blowing the smoke from local fires away from Nenana. There were very few mosquitoes. Please pray with us as many things are up in the air about next year including if there will even be an event. I will be having a meeting on August 19 with two couples who are praying about taking much of the load in organizing the event.
