September is here, and we've got a stacked lineup of events at Stuart's Opera House!

We’re kicking things off tonight with Open Mic Night, and we still have space for a few performers to sign up and show off their talents! This weekend, John R. Miller wraps up our FREE Summer Concert Series; then later this month, Athenian Berean Community Players bring the story of Amadeus to our stage, and the Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering returns to Snow Fork Event Center—plus plenty more.

Only a few tickets remain for Feast in the Forest next Saturday, September 5!

Spend the evening in the woods of Snow Fork Event Center with a three-course dinner by River Willow Culinary Services, live music from Hutchison’s Melody Makers, and these specialty cocktails from the West End Ciderhouse Pop-up, plus a selection of beer and wine. Then, head to the Creekside Stage for a FREE performance by Nelsonville Music Festival alum John R. Miller.

Please join us in welcoming Samantha Pelham-Kunz to the Stuart’s Opera House Board of Directors!

A two-time Ohio University alumna and media relations manager at Ohio University, Sam brings a deep background in communications, arts administration and community engagement. She has been part of the Stuart’s community in many ways over the past eight years, performing with the Athenian Berean Community Players and serving as their publicity chair, appearing in Stuart’s theatre productions, volunteering and serving as the Drama Club Coordinator for the Nelsonville-York Drama Club.

We’re grateful to have her perspective and passion for the arts on our board!

Join us this Thursday at 7 PM for an evening with “The Rose of Appalachia,” a nickname that nods to Angela’s Allegheny roots and clawhammer banjo skills.
