Volunteer sign-ups and scholarship opportunities are now open for the 2026 Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering!

Attendees can volunteer for one 2-hour shift to receive a Weekend Pass, and an additional 2-hour shift will earn a Camping Pass. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome in every area, including site prep, setup and teardown, admissions, camping and parking, and merch.

Athens County residents who are unable to volunteer but still hope to attend may apply for a scholarship to receive Weekend and Camping Passes. Applications are due by the end of day on September 10, 2026.

Tickets are on sale now for the 2026 Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering! From September 24-27, spend four days immersed in the music, art, and culture of Central Appalachia.

Set at the beautiful Snow Fork Event Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, attendees can join workshops with renowned old-time musicians on banjo, fiddle, upright bass, guitar, mandolin, and more. Plus, enjoy hosted jams, concerts, square dances, and community campfires!
