Peacefully beautiful moments with Starfish ⭐️

Last week we had a negative tide during sunset on the Oregon Coast. I love how the sea anemones and starfish help to add a unique foreground element to seascapes.

Happy Fall Colors Month🍁🍂🪾

A poem I wrote for the cover image taken at one of the swamps in good ol Texas…

“I’m reminded each day.
Each fractal of light.
It’s gift wrapped in kindness.
It’s a tree line of sight.

Into the memories.
Played in my head.
Like a tape on rewind.
I’d prefer her instead.

She carries me back,
to a smiling young child.
We frolicked so free.
So innocent and wild.

Don’t mind me at all.
I’m truly all smiles.
When life‘s a bit rough,
I’ll remember our miles.”

Mount Rainier with a blanket of lenticular clouds. What a perfect sunrise above the clouds at one of my favorite fire lookout spots.

The storm broke and the sun peaked above the low, inverted fog.
