A bit delayed…

The final match and winners at the 2024 Renaissance Cup. has been an amazing host, as you would expect hosting a few tournaments this year.
No.10 played fantastic which has been a huge accomplishment of and team.

Many smiles and a lot of golf being played. Thanks everyone for a beautiful Cup.

I’ve been waiting for the World Hall of Fame to open ever since my first site visit for No.10. It’s a truly magnificent display of the greatest of the game. And I am especially grateful that not just outstanding and memorable players make it into the display, but my heroes of GCA. Sometimes it is hard to find something on them, but I was impressed how many of the old books that barely survived were displayed. Very cool and a must on your next Pinehurst visit.

Midnight Sun vibes

I had a short walk-through on this afternoon before the rain got too hard.

The first picture shows the tee shot on hole 9 from the forward tee. I love the angle from there but also the fact that you see those bunkers that encroach into the fairway.
Hole 13 is always worth a picture. The cross-native area is pinching in on the second shot.
And then there is hole 14… the long debate about par. Once a short par 4 that used to cape to where the halfway house is now located. Now, playing across and against the foot of one of the sand mining bumps. It will be a good test, but it's all downhill… and the green… let's say had some serious fun on the dozer

One more month before y’all 😉 be able to play it. The greens keeping crew is working their butts off to make the opening date. Remember, that the greens aren’t even a year old 😅 what an incredible team effort!

Home Sweet Home

It’s been a while since I’ve last visited my hometown for a full 2week stint. The glamorous life of a shaper fitting into a 3 m3 isn‘t the standard. There will be a lot of figuring out and committing on my side to change this version.

The par-5 10th hole at No10 in the morning light. 635yards from the tips will make you feel like there is no one out there but you. Looking over the treetops of the pines, this must be one of the longest undisturbed views in this area.

The difference between the Media department (📸 ) and me. Course No.10 is growing in nicely on a sunny October day. Perfect weather to tweak bunker edges.
