I really should be posting more here, but what can you do? I remember when I used to crank out a painting in 3 hours, twice a week, now I average like a painting every 4 months. Hopefully next year I'll be able to do more paintings, but life tends to happen. And that's a good thing! Life gets in the way, and it influences me. Life dragging me through the mud? I paint something that brings me comfort. Life really good? I paint in bright colors. Some paintings I don't finish, like I was working on one based on Nekoosa, but it became difficult because it was a big painting and life got in the way, so eventually I scrapped the project and made Wilson instead. I wish life would revolve around my hobby, but instead my art revolves around my life. I am fortunate enough to find time to paint. I know some people loves are booked. Because my paintings can take months to do, for me they trap chunks of time for me to look at and remember. You might see frogs, but I see the 3 days where I felt amazing and bright. I use a computer to assist me, not AI, but my paintings are the most human thing about me! See you guys in 2026, and if I don't, I'm out living a life!

Started using charcoal, I've used it prior like 10 years ago, since then I've been more focused on paintings. However those have been taking forever so for some variety I figured I would practice my portrait drawing again. I started with the Prince of Darkness. I know its rough and has errors but with everything we'll sand out those errors

Congratulations to Zachary Erwin on his poster unveiling ceremony today during Pete Revelle & 4 on the Floor! Zachary's "Golden Red" in acrylic was chosen during last year's Celebrate Red posters for this year's Cranberry Blossom Festival poster! 🤩

The 2025 poster can be purchased this Saturday from 11a-7p or during normal business hours T/W/TH 10a-5p for $5! 2007-2024 posters are also available for $2! 🎉

I have been receiving a lot of messages recently, and I would like to take time to thank everyone for taking an interest into my paintings! I would also like to take the time to remind everyone I do have a shop if interested.
