Happy Tuesday everyone! Downtown Neenah is kicking off summer tonight with a street concert tonight, which means Wisconsin Avenue will be closing this afternoon to get the stage set up. You'll still be able to get to the shop by going down Church Street and parking in the lot behind the shop.

Summer Kickoff Concert with The Glam Band is TONIGHT from 6-9pm! It might rain a little bit during our set up but it is going to be dry during the concert! Here is what you need to know:

🚧 W. Wisconsin will be closed from Commercial St to Doty Ave starting at 2pm

🎵 Stage will be located near The Plaza Skating Rink

Kalliope from Mod Yarns visited our shop a couple weeks ago and while she was here we purchased some Jean Luc she had available. She is also lending us her sample of the Wavedeck shawl by Kate Atherley. This shawl takes 2 skeins and the sample is in the colorway Ramona. We send the sample back in July so be sure to come in and check it out in person while it's here!

Jean Luc is a DK weight and is a blend of 70% wool and 30% linen. It has 255 yards and is 100 grams.

Introducing Kate Wyatt // fine artist embroidery kits and needle minders and Kate Latham | Hoop Frame Maker hoop frames to the shop!

We met both Kate at h+h americas last month and both them and their products are just so incredibly lively we knew we wanted to bring them to Fibre for you.

Kate Wyatt is an artist who designs her embroidery kits from her botanical watercolor paintings. Each piece is stunning in and of itself.

To add a finished look of these and other
embroidery, cross stitch, needle felting or punch needle projects, we also brought in frames for your hoops designed by owner Kate of Modern Hoopla. We've started with a taste pack of finishes and brought in matching 5" and 8" sizes to fit the Kate Wyatt embroidery kits. She has a range of sizes available from 3" to 14" so if there's a specific project you're looking to frame, we can add it to our next order!

We also brought in her Hoop Props, which help you display your hoop on a shelf or table. They have a recess to hold the hoop and hide the screw mechanism.

And we've gotten requests to stock needle minders again so Kate Wyatt's Pollinators series seemed like the perfect selection to add to the shop.

Tori would love to see our many embroiderers in the community show some love for these two women! We look forward to seeing you all soon to check everything out in person!

Tori's swatched a few options for this year's 4 Day KAL, kicking off July 1st. This is Marie's final year of the knit along, and she's written Watermark in both cardigan and pullover form as a wonderful send off of these past ten years. You have the choice of knitting either one, or purchase both patterns and knit them both! They are currently discounted on Ravelry and Marie's website until June 27th. Preorder the oattern(s) now and get swatching instructions so you can be prepared for casting on July 1st!
