Hey hey, tomorrow's the big Malabrigo Day! Tori's pulled almost all the projects she's knit with malabrigo to use as a backdrop for all your and selfies! Remember to wear your Malabrigo projects into the shop tomorrow, post pictures on Instagram and make sure to tag Malabrigo along with the hashtags tomorrow when you're at Fibre to be entered into their prize giveaways!

The yarns for you to test out are sitting out in the Snug. Tomorrow only you'll be able to order a bag of a colorway in ANY available base with a 20% discount! Bases like Mohair, Sock, Caprino, Arroyo and Rasta come in a bag of 5 skeins, while Rios, Mecha, Chunky and Vientos come in bags of 10.

We have all our little Malabrigo gifts with purchase bundled up and ready at the register.

We've got kits for you but we'll also be ready to help you pick out yarns for any of the Malabrigo patterns you've scoped out ahead of time on Ravelry. Remember all Malabrigo patterns will be 50% tomorrow!

Let's just have an all-around fun day of appreciation for one of our favorite yarn brands.

Malabrigo's 2nd annual Malabrigo Day is coming up this Saturday! Let's party!!

We have the tasting yarns ready for anyone who'd like to test out a few stitches on an unfamiliar base. Fall in love with one? Work with Tori to find a colorway (in stock currently at Malabrigo) and we'll give you 20% off when you special order a full bag (this could be between 5 and 10 skeins depending on the base), including yarns we don't normally carry. This applies to orders placed on Saturday, October 24th only.

And we have Malabrigo swag again as well! Malabrigo's sent us a bunch of cute little buttons and sew on tags to give away to anyone participating this Saturday.

Malabrigo sent us patterns and pattern codes to give away with purchase, and all of their patterns on Ravelry will be 50% on October 25th. We've put together just a FEW ideas of patterns and combos for you.

This year Malabrigo is also sponsoring a giveaway for everyone who participates at the shop. All you have to do is come into Fibre on Saturday and post a picture on Instagram from the shop with the hashtag , or come in WEARING a Malabrigo-made outfit and post a picture of it on Instagram with the hashtag . For both pictures, be sure to tag so they can see your posts and celebrate with you! Winners will be selected at random using a random selection app after Wednesday, October 28th.

Woah! Can you believe it's already time for our trunk show? This Saturday, October 10th will be the first day having Meredith's amazing neon and blacklight reactive dyed yarns in the shop! She's letting us keep everything until next Saturday!

Meredith lives in Madison with her husband Preston and two kiddos (and just announced today one more mini skein is on their way!) She's been dying yarn since 2020 and really has cornered the market, at least in our area, on such a fun unique technique that we can't wait for you to see in person!

New British wool in at Fibre!

Introducing Wooltrace DK. In both 100g and 25g, we have all 12 colorways of this 100% British Romney wool.

As it's name alludes to, this yarn is fully traceable, back to every farmer that contributed to that particular skein of yarn! Just scan the QR code on thr ball band and you can connect your yarn back to "the flock, the farmer and the British landscape where it all began."

By Laxtons, now bramble & fleece, also has given us some gorgeous patterns to print out free with purchase, including the Bramble Snood and Hat and the Tansy Bandana. We'll be creating kits for these and getting them on the website soon!

Come squish this new (to us) yarn in person and fall in love with yet another lovely British wool.

We have two spots left for October's Intro to Rigid Heddle Weaving class. Join Susan on Saturdays, October 17th & 24th from noon to 4ish to learn to weave a scarf. No need to own a loom, you can rent one for the class. You just need 200 grams of dk or worsted yarn, which you can purchase with a class discount at the shop. The class fee is $100 plus $30 for a loom rental (which is reimbursed if you decide to buy a loom).
