What’s a trip home without a stop by .fibre.shop - one of my favorite LYS. Tori and her fiancé (soon to be husband - congrats!) Mark run such a fantastic little shop!

Today’s haul - squishy chainettes gradient set (for a fi*****ng weight sweater) and squishy fi*****ng full skeins for another sweater I have in mind.

You asked for more, and we’re giving you more! This Wednesday and 12/21 at 6pm, we’re hosting crafting! This week we’ll be providing paper crafting, coloring sheets, and more.

Feel free to bring what you’re working on and share space! (Please, nothing that requires fire and if it’s *really* messy, give us the heads up so we can cover surfaces).

Hosted again by the cartoon superhero we’ll have some winter tutorials as well! Warm drinks (boozy or not, whatever you like) and full menu!

After starting a new job mid-summer, I haven’t had a ton of knitting time. But I did finally finish up my by Karoliina Hämäläinen.

First foray into rectangular style shawls. I modified the pattern a smidge as I prefer a twisted rib to a regular rib.

Pattern was the perfect opportunity to show off the beautiful colors of Black Cat Fibers LLC and Forbidden Fiber Co. hand-dyed skeins.

Can’t wait for the weather to cool down so I can start wearing this beauty 😍

Sooo released the pattern last week and I fell in love.

A new pattern that I’m drooling over justifies buying new yarn - no?

So I took a trip to and picked up these beauties by & (had to order 1 colorway online as the store was sold out) 😍

I’m not allowing myself to cast this sweater on until my shawl is bound off - but that should happen shortly
