Gorse Mill Studios A community of active, producing artists in a variety of media. Several artists offer a variety of classes.

The Gorse Mill Studios is a former textile mill, built in 1893, that was reborn in 2009 as artists’ studios and the Gorse Mill Gallery. Among the building’s artists are potters, sculptors, glass blowers, painters, mosaic artists, silk painters and fiber artists, jewelers, photographers, authors, illustrators, stained-glass artists, graphic designers, mixed-media artists, and a storyteller. Announcing the annual Gorse Mill Holiday Open Studio and Art Sale! Sunday Dec. 14, 11-5, at 31 Thorpe Road, Needham, MA. Artists on all three floors will have art in their studios, plus pottery demonstrations all day at the The Potters Shop and School. The gallery will feature our annual group exhibit, and we're also having a gallery reception the next Sunday Dec. 21 from 4-6. Hope to see you in December for this annual tradition!
