We’re kicking off summer with some GREAT news!

Next year we will have a new Assistant Director! We are so excited to have Mrs. Krysten Graves step into this position alongside Mrs. Blanchard. She has been teaching at Central Middle School for the past 4 years, and was the Director of Central’s Middle School Dance Team for the 2025-2026 season. Next year she will be moving to the High School to teach BIM!! As a Westernaire Alumni c/o 2014 and former Captain, we are confident she will be a wonderful asset to our organization! Congratulations, Mrs. Graves… and welcome back to One Team, One Heart!

Today after school our Dance O’s and a couple of our Social O’s attended a Love and Lead Collective’s leadership seminar at Vidor High School along with several fellow SETX Officer lines. Her presentation was engaging, interactive, and most of all FUN! It was a great way to kick off our year as we step in to our new leadership positions, and left feeling uplifted and ready to take on a new season. We also enjoyed visiting and sharing ideas and insight with other local Officer lines and gain new perspectives on different things.

Thank you, Mrs. Love, for making your way to the 409! And thank you for hosting… we had a wonderful afternoon with y’all!

Busy day for us full of surprises! We found out our annual theme which came together perfectly thanks to our new Social Officers… next year is going to be THE GREATEST WESTIE SHOW! 🎪 We found out our squads and Grandioso number and topped it off with finding out who our neighbor will be all year long for our stand formations! 🤍 It’s going to be another GREAT year and we can’t wait!! (Fun fact: Grandioso now exceeds the width of the gym 😳)

A huge shoutout to LEI Pilates Studio for coming and working us out in a Pilates mat class! It was so much fun, and a lot of the girls tried something new… how fun?!?

7 more school days until SUMMER…. But who’s counting? 🤪😎😬
