Nebraska City Veterans Memorial Building Project This is a privately funded community-led revitalization of Nebraska City's Historic Memorial Building, a self-supporting, 501c3 non-profit community center.

This is a community-led revitalization of Nebraska City's Historic Memorial Building to house a performing arts center, culinary incubator, classroom space, and meeting facilities for our veteran groups. This project is privately funded by charitable organizations, historic tax credits, individual donations, earned income, and to be made sustainable by rent-paying tenants.

Today we recognize and celebrate Juneteenth. Join us tonight at 7:00 pm for the Grand Reopening of the Mayhew Cabin, an important site on the Underground Railroad and a powerful part of Nebraska City's history.

We are so excited to welcome Darren Goodman Glass to Nebraska City this Fourth of July weekend! Darren, a glass artist from Ohio, offers interactive demonstrations and is a hit with all ages. He has recently been working on a patriotic exhibit titled "GLASS Through the Lens of An Artist" and will showcase pieces from that.

You can find Darren at the Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center on Thursday, July 2, Friday, July 3, and Sunday, July 5. He'll also be at Nebraska City Tourism & Commerce, Inc.'s TREESTOCK INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL on Saturday, July 4, in Steinhart Park!

This appears to be a scam that is misusing the VA name and logo to target Veterans.

Please make Veterans aware to NOT:

❌ Create any accounts through links in unsolicited emails
❌ Provide any personal information

If Veterans have already engaged with this offer, please have them contact, and report it to, the VA Inspector General's fraud hotline at 1-800-488-8244 or online at va.gov/oig.
