🎉 MAKAH DAYS GRAND PARADE! 🎉

The Makah Days Grand Parade had 28 online registrants, with even more entries joining us on-site! 🙌

This year’s theme was “Honoring Our State Champions,” and we were honored to have the Neah Bay High School State Champions, representing 12 teams, serve as our Grand Marshals! 🏆🎓

As part of this year’s celebration, the Makah Days Committee gifted Letterman jackets to the Head Coaches, and we also have special t-shirts for our honorees. It is our honor to recognize and celebrate the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of our State Champions! ❤️🙌

Our fabulous MC, Hazel Hazel R. Greene brought forward our Makah language and culture throughout the parade, along with a wonderful mix of humor and heart! 🫶👏

🎤 MAKAH DAYS TALENT SHOW! 🎤

Our Talent Show had fun for all ages, with an incredible 16 performances across 3 categories! 👏🙌

A huge thank-you to our very own Crystal Hottowe, who served as MC and kept everything moving along smoothly while simultaneously entertaining the crowd and providing information! 🫶🙌

And a special thank-you to the USCG Neah Bay for providing judges for the event! We appreciate you helping make this a fun and fair experience for all of our talented participants! 🙌🙌🙌

The Makah Days Youth 3on3 had 8 teams registered in each of our 3 brackets, with a total of 94 players!

The gym was packed with spectators, DJ playing, and great concessions for a great cause!

🚨 ATTENTION MAKAH DAYS STREET FAIR VENDORS! 🚨

A reminder to all Makah Days Street Fair vendors:

Vendors are responsible for taking their own trash to the dumpsters provided on site. Our cleanup crews are responsible for maintaining the common areas, facilities, and grounds throughout the celebration. They are not responsible for hauling individual vendor trash.

📌 This is not a new requirement. Vendor cleanup responsibilities have been included in your signed Makah Days Street Fair contract since 2014.

Please help us keep the Street Fair clean and enjoyable for everyone:

LEAVE YOUR VENDOR SPACE IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS IN BEFORE YOU ARRIVED TO SET UP.

Please do not leave boxes, bags, food waste, sand bags, weights, or other trash behind when you leave your space.

Our local cleanup crews are working extremely hard throughout Makah Days to care for our community and thousands of guests. Please do your part and honor the terms of your vendor agreement.
