Thanks to everyone who liked my tree and for all of your wonderful comments! Some of you asked to see more of my tree.

Christmas gives us the perfect opportunity to harken back to our favorite Christmases of the past and honor our loved ones who made them possible and are no longer with us. This tree does exactly that. The happiness it gives me deserves an extended Christmas season.

This tree feels like a living member of my family and gives me the Christmas magic I remember as a child and have been searching for as an adult.

*I will be making more of these candles in two styles and will make them available soon

The (almost) fail. Because of what is perceived to be my brand, many people expect me to make everything gothic or spooky. Those who have followed me for a while, know that is not what I do. While I have some spooky content, I am not one to paint it black and add a spooky twist. I prefer a veil of spooky and not a mask. I also love kitschy, vintage items. They bring me the most joy. I’ve been in my grandma era for years.

THE MAKING OF A SECOND CHRISTMAS: Wasn’t too happy with my tree this year. I no longer wanted a tree that looked like a perfect cone. They look too artificial for me. I wanted a tree that looks more real and one that has imperfections. I also grew tired of full trees with lots of branches. I’m opting for a tree whose branches are more sparse.

So yesterday, I took down my tree on the left, bought two 7 ft trees that I liked but they didn’t come in 10ft. On the right are the two 7ft trees that I combined to make one. I’m still going to do some pruning and give it more gaps that will better showcase my ornaments and not just have them hanging diagonally on the tree.

I’m excited about having a more sparse tree because, not only will my ornaments hang better but you will be able to see all the lights at once and not just the ones in front of you.

Also, because my decision was made after Christmas, I don’t want to wait an entire year to actually see it. Time is not promised to us. Nothing says any of us will be around next Christmas. So- Second Christmas, here I come!
