Another great 4th of July in the books! We hope everyone else had fun as well. Thank you for all the support and great compliments from the community members regarding our float. We always do our best to incorporate the theme and to put all our effort into putting out a great piece, but unfortunately, we placed 2nd again this year. A big shout out to the members who helped with the concept, building and/or decorating.. also to those who helped pass out candy and favors. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! See you in October!! Stay spooky!! 💀👻🎃

The owners of KHP wish to inform the public of our heartfelt thanks to the person responsible for the incident at the trail this year, for coming forward and claiming responsibility for his mistake on Oct 21. He provided us with an explanation, a sincere apology, a promise of not repeating it in the future and a generous offer of restitution. We now consider this matter resolved and closed. Thank you all for your continuing support.

Although we had a great night, we wanted to share the act of vandalism committed during the trail this year. We are angry, upset and just plain dumbfounded that someone could be so disrespectful and heartless. Our famous bathroom scene was destroyed and one of our actors almost injured when he decided to kick in one of the bathroom doors. So if you went thru the trail after the act and it looked like the second picture, we apologize and had to discontinue the scene due to the damage. This individual was removed from the trail and the property after the act and will be permanently banned from entry to the trail.
We run the trail as family and close friends. Many of us drive hours, take time off from work, sacrifice our time and miss important life events to put this on for everyone. Our volunteers are UNPAID, no one is paid. All donations are used for props and the things we use in the trail and we'll even let you in on a little secret... We will still probably never break even. With that being said, all the positive feedback, the laughs and the screams are why we continue to host the trail. We wanted to share this shameful act with you so you know and can appreciate all the work, thought, sweat, blood and tears that go into this. It's all out in one weekend and if you drop by the next day, it looks like it never happened. We appreciate all our volunteers and trail comers and enjoy scaring you! We hope to see you all next year! 👻🎃
