Hey friends! 👋🏻

I have made the decision to take a break from signs and paint parties for the foreseeable future. For about a year now, I have felt God leading me in a different direction, but I wasn’t quite sure I was ready to let go of this little business I worked so hard for. I finally built up the courage to just trust and obey Him, wherever it is He is leading.

I am so thankful for all of the fun at paint parties with y’all and for the hundreds of signs that have gone into your homes over these past few years. One day God may lead me back to sign making. Who knows? It could even be sooner rather than later or never again. That’s up to Him! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will always treasure my memories and time spent creating with y’all! Thank you for all of your love and support! 🖤

This is my therapy. While I’m pulling up stencils, I’m praying. I’m thinking of my friends and family. I’m listening to worship music. It’s my time to focus on what’s going on in my life and to be grateful. I love this time.

🖤 I have loved that EVERY SINGLE SIGN that has been ordered the past month has been a sentimental handwritten sign! It’s such a great way to honor those we love.

At Simply Southern DIY, I have a passion for DIY décor and gifts. I have been so excited to provide Natchitoches and its surrounding areas with DIY Paint Parties, and I love teaching my customers how to create simple, affordable home décor made with their own hands!

At my DIY Paint Party, you will create a one of a kind wood sign that will rival any Big Craft Store purchase! And you’ll be proud to say “I made that!”. Check out the Album (Sign Workshops) for pictures of my crafty customers with their handmade signs!

I take photos during the party and of the finished signs. When you book a paint party, you are agreeing to allow Simply Southern DIY to use your photo in my advertising. If you do not want me to use your photo, please let me know at the beginning of the party.
