We are looking forward to seeing our Crossroads friends again soon!
This is a great little hideaway just off the Natchez Trace near Utica with a real friends and family feel to it. Come out and join in the fun … especially if you’ve never been before. You’ll enjoy it, and there’s always good food to be had too!
Saturday, November 11th at 1pm, The Crossroads Country Store proudly presents the Belgian acoustic blues duo of “Catfish & Cotton”. Brothers Luc and Marc Borms of Flanders, Belgium in Europe have been involved in the blues circuit for more than 40 years and have played stages all over Europe and Mississippi.
The brothers have traveled extensively throughout the Mississippi Delta and Luc now lives half time in Natchez.
The two have written several books about the Delta and it’s people. Luc’s newest book: When Patterns are Broken, New Worlds Emerge is a detailed account of the history of blues music in Mississippi and it’s relationship to the people involved in its evolution.
Now, they will bring their music and their love of the blues to our outdoor stage. We’ll also have the pleasure of hearing some personal stories of their experiences, and Luc will have his new book available for purchase and signing.
Don’t miss this great Saturday afternoon show at the Crossroads:
19073 Old Port Gibson Road, Utica, MS (just off the Natchez Trace Parkway)!
