MSG holds a special place in my heart, having attended numerous concerts there, including The Who's Quadrophenia in the 90s, as well as shows by Meshell Ndegeocello, Keith Sweat, Blackstreet, Teddy Riley, and more. Recently, I had the pleasure of performing alongside The Band Loula, featuring Grammy-winning artist and writer/producer Gary Nichols, and the talented Muscle Shoals crew, including Justin Holder, Jamie McFarlane, and Diana Daw on fiddle. Stepping onto the same stage where Lady Gaga had performed the previous night, and where many of my musical idols have also taken the stage, was a deeply moving experience. Interestingly, I had once contemplated leaving music to join the Army, but fortunately, my friends persuaded me to continue pursuing my passion; I'm thankful I stuck with it!

More importantly, I need to thank my sweetheart Alisa McCance Bieck. She is patient and listens to every mix revision, song idea, drum loop, and vocal comp. She hears everything and is great in the studio, I couldn’t do any of this without help. I am beyond grateful to have such a loving partner. Thank you!

We've got drums, mic'd up, ready to go. The drum room's dimensions and shape were designed by the famous studio designer Michael Cronin. With 12-foot ceilings and 120-year-old heart pine floors, good drum sounds are easy to come by.

SO EXCITED about the new THE BAND LOULA music video for "I Love Leavers". Written by The Band Loula and Marcus Spencer Hummon. If you look towards the end, I make a CAMEO as the 'redneck' Pilot. A role I play quite often, lol!! This is a song I was fortunate to Produce and Mix at my studio and the amazing The Sound Emporium
