If you have seen me play in the last 7 years, it's likely you heard my story about playing in a prison and meeting Lance Shockley. When I went to his appeal hearing and saw firsthand how little was needed to find someone guilty and give them a death sentence, so much about how I view our judicial system changed. I found out that the state of Missouri is trying to block what little DNA was found from being tested so they can execute Lance on Oct. 14th. Without any physical evidence. I'm teaming up with his legal team to try to spread the word and petition for last-minute clemency.

Lance Shockley, for whom the song Stories is inspired by, is a father to two loving adult daughters, who visit and call him regularly. He is deeply committed...
