The Brown County Art Gallery's mission is to support Indiana artists, past, present and future. We tell our nearly one hundred year history through our Permanent Collections and events, while our Art Association artists are creating their own story on canvas. Our Art Education Studio is home to professional workshops and exhibits for children.

All artwork from last weekend's the paint-out event will be available for pick up starting Friday, June 19th through June 27th at the Gallery.

We want to welcome our 2nd - 5th grade Danny Lee Cook Children’s Art Campers as they begin today! Children will learn different mediums and topics including Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, and more! A big thanks goes out to our supporters: Brown County Community Foundation, the Indiana Arts Commission, Indiana Heritage Arts, and the Danny Lee Memorial Fund.

A grand day painting at Selma's Garden at the T.C.Steele State Historic Site! Artists covered the grounds capturing the beauty all around and visitors purchased a perfect treasure to take home.
Selma had her say as we closed the day with a sterling performance of "Selma and the Painter" by actress Jill Tasker, written by Lyn Letsinger-Miller.
There is still a nice selection of art so it was decided they should remain near the gardens where they were created.
Visit the site and see the work of Indiana artists carrying on Steele's legacy.

Free admission to the outdoor areas and free short play in the studio at 4:00. Art, history and nature! What could be better!
