I don’t have many guitars. There are two reasons I don’t buy guitars, one, because the ones I want are wildly expensive. Two, unbearably annoying experiences in guitar stores turned me off years ago to going to guitar stores. Mostly however, I’m a creature of comfort and habit. I get comfortable with an instrument and then u just like it. It fits in my hands which are rather petite. But mostly I fall in love with tone. I got this Martin D28 in 1996 new at Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd in L.A. and have played it for most of those years. Hard to think I’ve owned anything that long. At times it was nearly all I owned. It’s been through the wringer a few times, patched up and carried on. It’s still my favorite instrument to play. I’ve written most of the songs I’ve written on it. Thank you to Martin Guitars for making such a wonderful instrument.
