We’ve noticed a lot of new followers lately and felt it would be a good idea to re-introduce ourself!

‼️Matthew Jackson‼️

Hey all, Matthew here! First off, I just want to extend a huge thank you to each and everyone that supports Redbird Tattoo! It wouldn’t be possible without you all! Going to try and keep this short, but here’s a bit about myself: I started off on this journey as a lifelong apprentice in 2016 where I would learn the history, integrity, ethics and cut my chops doing all ranges of styles very much like today. I would then travel out on my own working at another studio while traveling the United States where I was embraced by many people I consider to be mentors that helped me develop my passions for realism(portraiture) American traditional, mixstyle, sacred geometry, tribalism and pretty much the grand scope of tattooing as a whole. I then opened up my own studio in 2019 in Columbus where I made tattoos alongside multiple talented artist before deciding my heart was ready for a change. Fast forward to 2026, thousands of tattoos later, lots of paint and sketchbooks, traveling, learning, laughter and tattoos on my body to tell the tale, here we are in beautiful Nashville, Indiana going on year 4. I can proudly say this is where you’ll find me for quite some time. If you hear me out playing harmonica on a trail, pushing around deer run on a skateboard, drawing or painting in front of the studio, tattooing in the front window or anywhere in the wild say hello! I’d love to put more names to faces! 🤙🏻🙏🏻

Once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The walls of Redbird means the world to me and I hope to share it with as many people as I can.
