We’re not a tribute band. We’re not a cover band. We are a rock band that knows how to rock those songs out as well as write our own anthems! The 80’s.

https://buymeacoffee.com/officialeightballchannel A damn great decade to experience. Some were born into it, some lived thru it but no one forgot about it. It was the perfect storm for music. The first British wave hit in the sixties with the Beatles. The 70’s had arena rock, then disco and it came and went. Then in 1979 the new wave of British metal stormed the States but this time it was a whole different sound. The bands were turning their amps up to 11 (See Spinal Tap). When the LA bands got wind of the new sound, they ran with it and out of it came a new look and a new sound was born. “Metal”. Gone were the long 15 minute jam band songs. With the birth of MTV and music videos bands started writing great rock song anthems with screaming vocals, and two guitar attacks. Guys grew their hair long and raided their girlfriends wardrobe and make-up kits. That my friends, is Eight Ball. As the circus barker says to the gathering crowd ” Step right up! Step right up right now! Ladies and Gents, A marvel that all your eyes and ears must behold, I give you “Eight Ball”.

Back in 2020, three music geeks had an idea - a radio station that plays all kinds of music.

Today we celebrate five years of A2Z Radio playing the Internet's biggest variety of Rock, Pop, and Country Music. Not just the big names and hits, we actively seek out new, and new to us, artists to provide a platform for future stars.

Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, with the only limitations being restrictions spelled out in the DMCA. Well, also poor internet connectivity, fickle streaming servers, temperamental hardware and software, and admittedly lots of operator error.

Ownership would like to thank everyone that has helped make this possible, including but not limited to:

- Our volunteer DJs, past and present, that take time out of their busy weeks to craft regularly scheduled and pop-up shows.

- Rocking Ricky Rialto, the robotic glue behind the scene keeping our AutoDJ mostly well oiled and spinning non-stop.

- Our loyal listening bunch, The Misfits, egging us on with song requests and show theme suggestions.

- And you, yes you, for listening and supporting us over the past half decade. While we started this because of our love of music, we continue, as a demonic bass player once said, "for the fans."

If you haven't given us a listen, find a link to our stream at https://a2zradio.net, along with a complete schedule for the week. Odds are you'll not only hear your all time favorite song, you may discover your new jam.

Thanks for being part of our adventure. Now turn it up!
