A sold-out night in York, a beer festival in the sunshine, some new songs played live for the very first time and plenty of little moments in between 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out, listened, sang along and made this weekend such a lovely one. It still amazes me that these songs get to have a life beyond my living room.

And hearing Late Bloomer out in the world never gets old 🌸

I thought I'd share a little of the journey behind Late Bloomer 🌸

During two weeks in Nashville, I spent my weekdays writing songs and my weekends driving 2.5 hours to Muscle Shoals to record the album. It was exhausting, exciting and one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences of my life.

When it came to choosing the first single, Late Bloomer felt like the right place to begin. After a decade since my last solo album, I realised I wasn't behind at all - I was simply growing into this chapter in my own time.
