PENMEN® Posters, T-Shirts, and Comic Strip has been publishing since 1989. Gary Blehm first drew the Penman character with a big grin of optimism in a one room school house near Aspen. Gary took his character drawing home and showed it to his parents declaring that he was going to draw that character for a living the rest of his life. He's kept true to that promise taking the character to 100,000

poster sales, a book deal, national newspaper syndication and animation for European Kids' Television.
