My little book Seasoned Women is having some success. Private sales are progressing nicely and after a reading last night it will soon be on sale at the bookstore Plenty on Spring in Cookeville, TN. Letter From Santa,
Dear Cathy,
Usually children write to me and I am really too busy to take pen in hand. But I noticed that for the first time in years you jumped from the Naughty List to the Nice List. I am so pleased; my heart is as light as an elf's giggle. I have something very special for you that should be a nice surprise after all those sooty lumps. Merry Christmas!

What’s So Great About Being 70
Decades of memories that paint my days
Gratitude
Granddaughters’ giggles
Sending grandchildren home to their parents
Naps
Time to read, write, play
Time to sleep late, drink coffee, word puzzles
Happy Hour
Yes Ma’am from adults
Respect
I’ve seen that wince before, I know what it means
Empathy
Patience, wanted that sooner
Senior coffee at McDonalds
Loving friendships that
grow strong, root deep, anchor me today,
