We’re overwhelmed by the incredible turnout for the Ona Judge mural unveiling in Portsmouth, NH at the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire headquarters. Painted by our own Manuel Ramirez, this mural was nearly three years in the making.

Today’s gathering was filled with beautiful energy as people came together to honor the art, the history, and Ona Judge’s story. Public art creates space for reflection, dialogue, and belonging while making history visible.

For 14 years, Positive Street Art has worked across New Hampshire to uplift community voices and tell important stories. We’re honored to help bring Ona Judge’s story to life.

Let us not forget her name.

Thank you to the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire for including us in this meaningful project and for their continued work preserving and sharing Black history throughout our state.
