The countdown is on! We're just ONE MONTH AWAY from the Big 4 Fair Show at the Diamond Open Sheep & Goat Show in Nashua, IA, and we can't wait to see everyone in the ring!

Do you love the Big 4 Fair as much as we do?? Consider helping us out!!

We are looking for some volunteer help in a few different spots yet for our 2026 Big 4 Fair Labor Day weekend. Whether you have an hour or a day, we will take the help we can get.

Talk to a fairboard member or message us here and we will see what we have that works with your schedule.

**If you know or a part of a group or organization that would like to help in any way, please contact us as we do have some group opportunities as well.**

Thank you is never enough to all of the volunteers, racers, and fans - it just doesn’t happen without you all. Thank you to the track crew. Thank you to the firefighters and first responders. And thank you to all those that came to enjoy the sunshine and show after the rain we had. We had ANOTHER showing of over 80 cars tonight and a full crowd.

We know everyone has been wondering about tonight’s Figure 8 races—and they are a GO! 🏁 Start time is 5 pm!

It takes a village to make events possible and we are so thankful for ours. Incredibly huge shoutout to 2 very important people who worked very hard to make this event possible with the rain. Our Fair Board President along with Jeff Welter have worked all day yesterday and last night at the fairgrounds pumping water off the infield to make sure tonight’s event could happen. We can’t thank them enough for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our fair today and every day. Thank you gentlemen!!

We’ll see you tonight for the Figure 8s! 🎉

In case you missed out on the fun, check out some photos from yesterday’s entertainment. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did - spectators and participants alike. We truly appreciate you spending your Saturday evening with us! Come back and join us for Big 4 Fair on Labor Day weekend! Be sure to check out the 2026 Chickasaw County 4-H & FFA Fair, going on this week....2nd to last day of the Fair!! The fair will wrap up on Monday with the 4-H & FFA Livestock Auction with a Complementary Pancake Breakfast before the Auction! Be sure to check the schedule, some shows have changed Days and Times!!
