The Blue Line had just left leaving us behind in a flurry of wind and screeching brakes. Before I headed up the stairs to change lines, I looked ahead and I couldn't believe the textures and lines and lights, and I grabbed my camera and made a few exposures. Everything is so gritty and oily and in turn makes it wonderful and beautiful to photograph.

Amy is a neighbor to me here in the Nashua mill yard, and she was looking for an updated headshot as she starts to venture out in a new exciting direction. She stopped into the studio prior to the session so we could meet and chat for a bit, and I instantly liked the cut of her jib, and we seemed to get along well.

I always want anyone that visits the studio for a headshot or a portrait session or whatever to feel as comfortable as possible.

Amy did awesome. She was a bundle of joy to photograph, and this particular headshot just nails it in every aspect.
