Feels so good to post!
Yes the reach is terrible ..
But the pleasure of painting and presentation is something I don’t want to stop doing .

This was done from photos. There was a lot of complex perspective drawing with the instrument and the hands . Challenging but love how it turned out.

Painting dark skin was super challenging and I have used a lot of bright violet and viridian along with burnt sienna and burnt umber for the skin tone !!

I am giving a big pat on my back.. There was a time when I avoided drawing faces that are tilted , if I had to draw I was so into measuring the distances still it wasn’t perfect .

I learnt to step away from my sketch and do what’s needed to stay realistic to the photo instead of photocopying .

Painting kids is such a pleasure, capturing the age in their eyes is challenging. Love the light and shadow in the photo and I hope I did justice to the photography!

Just realizing that I haven’t shared a pic of myself since last year so this art vs artist post . This year was awesome , my family is doing well !!! My heart is filled with gratitude as I write this.
Artwise I have been able to see a lot of improvements and I’m ready with lots of plan for the next year!!!
