I (Erica) started out making hair bows after my daughter was born in 2009. After having 2 boys, I found it really
fun and relaxing to make these items and eventually began to sell them. This is where the name Rica’s Bowtique originated from. My nickname from my childhood was Rica and since I was selling bows, I thought the combination was cute and catchy (sometimes now confusing to some LOL). From there, I began to explore other crafting options and became inspired to make signs while preparing for my wedding in 2013 (which I planned and created everything for, with the help of my husband, of course!). Fast forward 2 years to 2015 when I was trying to come up with a fundraiser idea for my daughters’ dance team and here we are are. One fundraiser has turned into over 300 parties and over 3,000 signs made at our classes and parties! The next step is the expand and allow others to enjoy teaching classes as much as I have! I feel truly blessed to have the following and support from my customers, it makes my heart full! We offer a variety of sign painting parties at your home, work or other desired location.
