Performing Arts Manager
Are you passionate about presenting live, in-person events? Does working with an ever-growing performing arts community excite you?

The Performing Arts Manager organizes DVAA’s performing arts programming and manages the Tusten Theatre and Krause Recital Hall. This includes booking 12-16 public performances at the Tusten, the annual Winter Salon series at Krause Hall that are in keeping with DVAA’s mission, coordinating space rental/usage with other performing arts groups, and more.

This job is right for you if you are innovative, energetic, and passionate about the performing arts and bringing dynamic programming to small communities. If you’re excited about contributing to a creative, collaborative environment and have a background in performing arts and/or stage management, we should talk.

---

Development Associate
Do you get excited about cultivating relationships? Building a community of supporters and helping strengthen the arts?

The Development Associate supports the development goals and integral donor management of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) in order to further our mission to advance the arts in the region through the support and encouragement of artists, innovative programs, advocacy, and alliances with arts organizations, business, and government.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing the community, fundraising in the arts and culture sector, and an understanding of the development opportunities and challenges in our region. They should possess a positive, “goal-minded” attitude and possess a willingness to identify creative solutions to challenges as they present themselves. They should be highly organized and have strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and be able to thrive within a small and dedicated team that shares responsibilities and supports each other’s roles.

DVAA’s 50th Anniversary re-staging of Our Town, directed by Greg Triggs, will assemble a cast of talented local actors to bring Thornton Wilder’s 1938 Pulitzer-Prize winning play back to our community. The 1975 local production, which formed part of the Narrowsburg’s Bicentennial celebrations, lay the groundwork for DVAA’s founding in 1976. We hope that this ambitious re-staging will bring our community together once again to enjoy this classic celebration of small-town life.
